The next Adams State University Faculty Lecture What’s Love Got to Do With It?: The Anatomy of Relationships, by Dr. Mark Manzanares, professor of counselor education and department chair, begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, in Porter Hall room 130.

Using the works of John Gottman, Hellen Fisher, Robert Sternberg, Desmond Morris, John Grey and others, Manzanares will discuss the development and deterioration of relationships. He will illustrate the common anatomy of relationships and will explore the one aspect of relationships that makes each one unique. Factors that prevent successful relationships will also be presented.

All ASU Faculty Lectures in the series are free and open to the public. Complimentary light refreshments will be offered. For further information on the series of lectures, contact Dr. Courtney Allen, assistant professor of counselor education, at 719-587-7888 or courtneyallen@adams.edu.
