Travis Goodman - 2004 Theatre Alumnus

Travis is a working actor in Los Angeles where he has made appearances in multiple television shows as well as starred in 12 plays, over 40 short films and 1 feature film.  He is a proud member of Actors' Equity and SAG-AFTRA.

Currently, he's building a small production company, Nacho Cosmo Productions, with his wife, Katie, in order to create and produce their own content.  Although they're beginning with smaller productions they will eventually move into doing feature films that they are currently developing.

"I can honestly say that I wouldn't be an artist today if it wasn't for Adams State. I was lost and my future was uncertain before I met Dr. Taylor and Dr. Newman.  I was dangerously close to dropping out of college when I met Dr. Taylor and he invited me into the family that is the Adams State Theatre.  Because of their guidance and tutelage I have become the artist I am today.

I may not have known it at the time, but Adams State has given me a base to become something that is more and more important to me as I get older.  That is to be a real 'actor's actor.'  I'm very proud to say that I know the history of what we do, that I've read (and continue to read) classic pieces of theatre from the Greeks to Tennessee Williams as well as new works, that I've studied many different approaches to the craft, that I help build the sets I perform on and that I'm well rounded enough to work both on the stage and behind the curtain as well as on and off camera. Adams State started me on my journey and I continue to this day learning and growing along the path I've chosen."
