"Adams State Theatre has influenced what I'm doing today by cultivating my love for theatre. I entered Adams State with the desire to be a teacher and left with the wish to become a professional designer in the world of theatre, opera, and dance. I was introduced to great plays and given the skills to analyze them. Those lessons help me today to get to the heart of a play and show me how my design can help tell the story. Adams State also helped prepare me to succeed in grad school.

After grad school I moved to New York City, the heartbeat of American theatre, to find my place in the world I so desired to become a part of. Eight months after moving to the big city I landed my first Broadway design. After designing on Broadway I have gone on to work around the world. I have done shows in Hungary, Italy, Israel, Germany, Scotland, and across America."
